Kale is the continuous groove and force of nature.

The genre-blending indietronica jam trio combines its love of danceable indie-rock rhythms, soaring electronic melodies, and baroque, energetic pop vocals into an improvisational channel that allows for deep exploration of the musical cosmos. With party-like atmospheres and an ever changing setlist, Kale’s live shows keep you on your toes and dancing.

Officially formed in October of 2022 in the college town of New Paltz, NY, the band wasted no time hitting the road, so far performing over 120 shows in nine different states. With a focus on their live concert experience, Kale has played many notable shows, such as seven record-breaking capacitied headlining shows at their hometown venue Snug Harbor in New Paltz, NY, after-parties for bands such as the Disco Biscuits and Twiddle (at the Paramount Theatre in Huntington, NY), festival performances at the Catskill Mountain Jubilee, Summer Jam, and Circus of Life, and has provided direct support for many nationally touring bands such as Eggy (at Garcia’s at the Capitol Theatre) and the Q-Tip Bandits (at Lark Hall in Albany, NY).

Living in a college town influenced the band’s musical and performance style. Emulating their shared experiences in their songs and shows, Kale’s music encapsulates the feeling of a fun and exciting night out with friends into a tangible, musical form. Combining this sense of youthful joy with seasoned musicianship, bright and saturated light-shows, an ever-changing energetic setlist, and an all around party-like atmosphere at their live shows, Kale became the soundtrack of many people’s college lives at SUNY schools and beyond.

Kale released their first studio single, ‘Everybody’s Falling’ on October 27, 2023, putting on their own release show at their hometown venue Snug Harbor, breaking the venue’s attendance record at 446 people. The band released their second studio single, 'Pave the Way', on May 24, 2024. Their third single, ‘The Beautiful Game’ will be released on August 30, 2024, with a release show planned for the occasion.

Continuing to focus on their live concert experience, Kale has no plans to stop touring the world, seeing new sights together, and sharing their music with everyone who wants to let go for a few hours and dance a night away. They don’t know where the open road will take them, but they’ll keep bringing the party wherever they go.
